Tillandsia Tectorum, is native to Ecuador and Peru where it can be found growing in large populations on Andean cliff faces and outcroppings. The large, fuzzy trichomes and overall whimsical appearance has our founder calling it a lil' pet plant.
Water sparingly! DO NOT SOAK. We prefer to heavily mist or dip upside down in a bowl of water approximately 10 time. Shake off gently. Let dry completely prior to putting it back in its vessel.
Bright light needed! The tectorum's white appearance reflects a good amount of incoming sunshine. Because of this, they require bright light.
